I have read the FAQ and several post about CAPS. I have installed them with good success too. My question is about the KLM function only.

MICS system - not sure of software level at this point

Is there a limit of KLM's that can be attached to M7324's in the system? None of them will be assigned as CAPS. They just want to monitor on stations and use feature codes. All lines will reside on the M7324. Currently I have a remote customer who has 7 in use (1 per M7324) and they want to add more (again 1 per phone). Besides the power supply, is there any restriction for this arrangement?

Thanks

That post refers to the newer Ekim/okim for the T7316E/6.1 and up.

I am inquiring about the M7324 and origianl KLM/CAP units.

Perhaps the numbers are the same but I'd like to confirm if possible.

KLM - by the side of a M7324 --> this becomes a central answering position (2 max per phone, requires 1 SAPS)

BLF - on top of a M7310 (1 per phone)

I was under the impression that if you attach a KLM to a M7324 you can use it for any additional buttons other than lines. When you assign that KLM as a CAP in programming then you can assing lines to it.

I understand that there are restrictions for # of CAPs on a system. My question asks if there is a restriction on the number of KLM's on a system?

The BLF is not is part of this equation. Different part, different phone.

I have a customer who is already using 7 KLM's on M7324 (1 per phone) She wants more but has been told that she cannot have them. No lines are to be assigned. just autodials (int & ext) and features.

Does anyone no if there is a limit? or is this the trial?

now i understand your question better
Hope this helps

Enhanced(with line appr) CAP limit - 5 per MICS, 1 per CICS
Regular CAP - there is no limit documented
