Is it true the NT8B41 KLM is only compatible with the M7324?

Does anyone know where I can find wiring instruction on how to install a KLM.

I know it requires a 24v power supply but does it also use a separate port or does it share a port with the phone it's bridged thru?

Thanks,

Dave

It uses the same port as the phone. You will needto use 2 pair jumper wire though to feed the power to the KLM unit. Phone port on blue pair and power on the orange pair.

What about the "Is it true the NT8B41 KLM is only compatible with the M7324?"?

I cannot say 100%, but the only sets I have them on are 7324's. Never have seen one on a 7310?

I called my supplier, the KLM module only works on the M7324 as the BLF module only works on the M7310.

And just for future reference, the T24 KLM Module for T series phones only works on the T7316E (it must be an E).

What was Nortel thinking?

Thanks for your comments,

Dave
