We have an NT4 server which holds the Kix32 script which maps client network drives when a client machine logs onto the network according to their permissions.

This works fine however on some occasions for no reason some users logon to the network as normal but none of their network drives are mapped ie they only have their local drives. The network drives however can still be mapped manualy.

Is their anything which could be causing this and is their anyway it can be solved?

Thanks in advance

NW

if your logon server is unavailable during the logon process your users will be authenticated using cached creditials on the workstation, this will mean that you logon script will not be executed but your users will be logged in the same.

hope this helps
