Kit

When setting up a kit, I entered an item number that needed to be added to the kit and was given this popup.

This item already exists. do you want to modify it?


If I select yes, the popup disappears and the cursor highlights another item already listed in the kit.

If I select no, the popup disappears and the item number is blank.

Cant anyone tell me why I am unable to enter the item number for the kit?
