kill/find word instances

i do have a few word instances (can only be seen with the taskmanager/processes window) and want to find/kill them with vb.

i use vb6.0 and word 2000.

Its possibly a little late to ask, but where are these instances of Word coming from?

If you are using word in your program, it might be worthwhile checking that you are releasing the object reference completely.

The terminateprocess solution (in this case) appears to be a "quick" fix, for the symptom of a possibly deeper problem
