I have a database that holds information relating to recruitment candidates, I want to be able to search for three or four particular keywords across 5 fields.

The fields are category 1 through 5 and in these fields we store info relating to job categories so I want to be able to search for candidates who have particular info entered into any one of these fields i.e. the word secretary may appear in box one two or five and I want to be able to search all of these fields but in addition be able to search for say admin or receptionist also.

Any help would be appreciated.

The fields are category 1 through 5
Have a look here:

Anyway, a starting point:
WHERE ',' & categ1 & ',' & categ2 & ',' & ... & categ5 & ',' Like '*,secretary,*'

Hope This Helps, PH.
