Hi,

When i start win 2000 and have to give my password, i have the wrong keyboard.
When windows has started the keyboard is ok.
How can i change the keyboard before windows asks me for my password.

Does your keyboard not work? Do the wrong letters come out when you type?

to my knowledge there is no setting in bios.
what keys are not working.
since there is nothing else check bios for numlock on/off and change this setting. have also a lock if there is a setting for codepage (i dont think so)

type your password into the username and determine the correct keys then type them into the password field.

Then you can change to US or UK (or whatever) in the control panel.
