keyboard wont respond ultra one

My keyboard on my ultra one wont respond
when booting it sees the keyboard and the mouse works
fine.
When it comes to the cde login screen none of the characters respond
Any ideas
I figure the keyboard is dead but thought I would ask

unplug the keyboard and plugin again; this will generate a "high" or a "low" on a certain pin and the Ultra will interpret this as a "break signal" - the system will stop executing the OS and wait in OBP Mode... Does this work? Can you enter commands in OBP? Do you have another keyboard to plug in into the sun? Is it an "original Sun" Keyboard or some 3rd party (USB)?
What OS did you install? Recommended Patches?

the obp mode.
I still cant type anything in?
I assume this means the keyboard is dead
It is a sun keyboard?

yes, I guess the keyboard is dead...
do you have another one to test, if it is a keyboard or a machine problem?
