That is all I know. I am receiving a "KERNEL error" and the system locks up and I am forced to reboot. I am getting the error inconsistently and I don't know what is causing the error. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

...run "SFC" (extract/restore "kernel32.dll" file from CD), bad Memory modules, overclocking, update/re-install chipset/VGA drivers...

You'll need to state the Exact error message, no paraphrasing. D an updated virus scan and get free Zone Alarm too. Emachines, Celeron 600, 256 Mb RAM, 10 Gb HDD, ADSL.
