KEM labelling

Can the buttons on the KEM be labelled with names using a USB keyboard connected to the 1140e set?

I tried it and cannot get it to work, seems only works for when in Services mode.
Perhaps a feature of the Succession.

I believe it only works when paired to a CS1000.
