The connection to my servcer keeps disconnecting. Even if I manualy connect, when I browser check it disconnects then reconnects taking a significant time and causing that little bit of frustration when repeatedly tweaking. It did not used to to do this, and I can't think of what I have done to change things.

I am using CS3 in PHP MYSQL mode testing on the server with Temp Files.

The connection"
talking about DWs FTP or data connection?
live server or localhost?
ant testing done with ftp client such as filezilla?
any firewalls on yoru machine?
any issues with your server not accepting passive conections?
any cahnges at all.....
<insert more info here> :)

All the best!

DW FTP to Live Server
ZoneAlarm Pro
Server fine, works fine with DW from Laptop
No changes of note
Only Lightscribe softwar installed.

When I finish for the day, I will System Restore to last known state (plus a bit) to see if that does anything.

try something easier such as stop the ZoneAlaram or reinstall DW, perhaps DW needs a patch? Maybe there is a courroupt file in the site files....hmmm...weird but possible I guess.
All the best!

In "Site Management, I removed a site, shut down rebooted and redined from scratch (Same Settings Exactly) and it worked OK for that site only. I then did the same for another site and that worked too but not without rebooting my PC.

I just need to do the same for about 80+ sites. I will do this as each one needs access rather than sit down and do the lot in one go.

Maybe the Site Cache files got corrupted somehow, although I did try the recreate function without success. Strange.
