Hello,

I am currently switching over from a Windows Nt 4.0 domain to a Windows 2000 domain. All of our client machines are Windows XP based. Is their an easy way of keeping user profiles once the workstations join the new domain so that I do not have to reset outlook accounts, desktop preferences, etc..

It depends how are you going move your network from NT4 to W2k . Any way you can install it in mixed mode and keep same DOMAIN name. In this case you will not change your profile.
Install new NT4 server like DC
Upgrade it to w2k server
Promote w2k server to Active Directory.

Actually, the new domain is a brand new Dell Windows 2000 server. I am not upgrading the existing computer.
