Keeping passwords synchronised

We use both Novel Netware 4.11 and W2k servers in our organisation.

Users currently using Novell map to W2K server for data in their day to day jobs.

I am running into difficulties with passwords expiring at different times and dates and consequently users are not able to access their data.

Has anyone experienced similar difficulties and if so how have you overcome them??? I have tried setting the account expiry dates the same but sometimes this does not work, with users not changing passwords on one of the servers.
