I've got a site with a left and right float ( Is there any way of aligning the bottom border of each element dependant upon the amount of information loaded into the right or left floated element?

Keeping bottom line level in float left and right situation

there are css solutions but all (other than css3 native) are clumsy.
using js (since this is a js forum) you can set the height of the competing elements to be equal.
the code to do so is straightforward, but since I use jQuery a lot I have often made use of this code rather than rolling my own each time.
