Hi,

This is my first time configuring a Cisco (in fact any) router.

We have the following set up :

Users
Server
Router (bridge)
Converter
Leased line
Converter
Router (bridge)
Server
Users

What we will be replacing is the Router Bridge with the cisco routers as they hopefully will stand up better and perform better.

I have been looking around online and have been on the cisco web site, but some of the options it mentions for ios don't appear to be in this router and I was wondering if I needed them at all.

What I am basically asking on this post is whether some of you have links to novice/beginner router set up sites. And whether you'd be kind enough to post them so I can go see.

There isn't a timescale on this (yet) but I think there will be one by the end of next week.

Thanks in advance

Vince

Cisco will be your best bet. There are many other sites on the web, do a search on cisco configs from Google. If you decide to go with Cisco we can always assist you in your configuration needs. “Reserve your right to think, for even to think wrongly is better than not to think at all”
