Hi,

There is a process running on my PC that is called JQEESP.exe. It resides in the Windows/system32 directory.

A search on google did not show any results either.
Anyone know what this process is?

thx

I don't know, its not listed in liutilities or Windows Startup either.

Locate the file with Windows explorer, right click and choose Properties.
On the Version tab, have a look and see if it gives any clues as to who wrote it or where it comes from.
If it is a legitimate program, the chances are it will be listed as being from a software company that you have heard of with a name and version number.
If it is dodgy, this information is either not likely to be present or full of gobbledegook.

John

Download and run AutoRuns:
Select View, and enable all options.

Find the entry(ies) for jqeexp.exe and uncheck them. Restart the computer.

If it should turn out that something is not working right as a result, re-run AutoRuns and enable the Run keys for the program again.

A malware check and clean using faq608-4650 is strongly suggested.
