I'd like to join about 60 JPEG images into a "time delay" display for use on an Internet web page. Can anyone suggest a way I may do this without reloading and refreshing the page after each load? (Smooth transition desired.)

Sounds like something you could do with Flash (SWF format). Each jpeg is displayed for a fixed length of time and perhaps a dissolve inbetween each one or not. You could also do this with an animated gif, but it could be too large a file in that format.

Thanks, Pixelchik, for your quick response.

I have Flash here but haven't worked with it very much. Time to read the instructions? YUK! [Grin!] Flash appears to be the way to go though. I should probably cut the frames down to something like 10 instead of 60.

Thanks again for your advice.

Yes Macromedia Flash is kind of hard to learn for most people. But it's not the only game in town! I use Adobe's Live Motion 2 for all my SWF animations. It's much easier/faster learning curve. You can pretty much have a simple SWF file (like what you want to create) done in a couple hours! I suggest you download a trial version and play with it.
