Joining SAMBA Domain Problem!!!!!

Hello all,
I am a newbie to the SAMBA but learning it. I have RedHat 8.0 w/ smb 2.2.0 and i am trying to log on with a Win2k machine. My new problem is that i can join the domain after i reboot my computer i try to log on to the PDC and i recieve the message ""The system cannot log you on to this domain because the systems comp. acct. in it's primary domain is missing or the passsword on that accoutn is incorrect". I double checked the password on linux, smb and the local machine and they are all the same. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was getting the same error. I found later that the step I was missing was to run this command after adding the machine account.

passwd -l machinename$

This locked the password for machine account. After doing this I could login. Hope this helps!
