joining NT4 member server to existing Win 2K AD.

When trying to join an NT 4 server to an existing Windows 2K AD I am receiving the error that a Domain controller could not be contacted.

Do I need to do something special using the tools CD or on the ADUC?

Do you have WINS running?

Make sure you have your IP Address and DNS Settings pointing to the Windows 2000 DC and this should be all you need to connect. Also may need to add this computer in Active Directory before trying to join the domain. Add this via Active Directory Users and Computers.

Install the DS client, and service pack 6 on your NT boxes. It will make your life easier.
