Jobs to backup using scratch media

I am currently using Backup Exec 9.1. How do I make backup jobs backup to scratch media? I cannot select scratch media in Job Properties.

It can't write to scratch media. It can move tapes from scratch to a media set and then use those. But it won't move them until it can not overwrite or append to the available tapes, then it looks for a scratch tape.

Tools, Options, Media Management - overwrite scratch media before recycable media - this will always take tapes out of scratch media first to overwrite if there are any available.
