I have a backup job which is scheduled to run at 21:00 each week day and it has been running fine for some while. However as of Monday (the day after British Summer Time started) it has been shown as 'Missed'.

The job schedule is set to 'Run according to schedule' and the Time Window is set to 'Start no earlier than 21:00 and no later than 22:59' and all the successful backups are shown as starting at 21:00.

However, the 'Missed' ones show a start time of 23:00 and an end time of 22:59 and the job history says that it was 'error e000e020 - scheduled to run but availability window closed before the job could start...'. The server system time is correct.

Obviously, there are two things I could do - increase the Time Window and/or create a new backup job on the assumption that the change to summer time has somehow upset the system. However, I am curious as to how a one hour change in summer time has resulted in a two hour error in the backup and also if there is something I should check in the system as whole. It is important that jobs start when they should so as to get them all done before the server starts being used again in the morning.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
