Hi, the scheduled job ran OK on Windows 2000 Professional for a couple of days. After I modified the program run by the job, it had problem last Friday and the status was "Could not start". I rescheduled a run at 1:45pm. Nothing happened --- Last run time was still last Friday. I manually ran the program and it's OK. Could someone please help? Thanks in advance!

Have you tried undoing the modification you did to the program and seeing if the scheduled job will run again? If it will run again, then something you did is preventing the scheduler from running it. Try checking the Event Viewer for specific errors.

Redo the security (Run As) on the schedualed job. In other words, retype/confirm the password for the user launching the job (click on the Set Password button). If you have a service account, it would be good to use it. If you don't, you may want to think about setting one up.

Thanks, ReddLefty!! It worked after changing the password.
