Hi,
I had an employee leave and therefore deleted her user account in AD. I don't want to purge her account however as I want to keep it for auditing purposes. Is there a way to stop my jobs from failing due to BE's inability to find the missing directory?
I went to the exchange folder of my job and was going to uncheck her name however she doesn't appear in this list anymore ( I assume due to the fact she doesn't appear in AD anymore).

Any suggestions? I've only been working with this program a few months so if i'm missing something obvious I appoligize.

Thanks,
Andy

Goto the selection list and switcht to text view and you should be able to remove it there. Other than that you could assign the mailbox to another account or export it out to a pst and delete it.

I had the same problem, but, I had not deleted the account, just disabled it.

All I did was to disable the account from the AD, and exclude it from the selections list by going to the Job Setup tab, right click on the job and select "Properties",

Navigate to Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes and deselect the account...may not be the case for you, but the list I view does not appear in alphabetical order, so it might be there, just not where you think it should be!

If all else fails...how about recreate the account with the same name, de-select it from the selections after it reappears, then just disable the account or delete it again...

Not the most convenient way to do it but it's an easy enough solution if the typical methods don't work!

Thanks,
I was able to go into text mode and insert my own statement (mimicking other statements that were already in there).
Last night it backed up w/o a hitch.

Thanks again!
Andy
