Javascript shop cart

Hi there,

I have an assesment to build a shopping cart using javascript for my university, i was wondering if anyone knew any good books on how to build a shopping cart using javascript. I know a little javascript but not an expert in the subject.

Any help would be much apprecited

I think that O'Reilly books (escpecially the JavaScript and DHTML books) are great reference material. I think they also releasee some sort of javascript cookbook with cookie/shopping cart code in, but cannot be 100% sure about this.

Yeah i think i just came across this, its called "JavaScript Application Cookbook", but i dont really want to fork out the money unless someone has actually used a javascript regarding the shopping cart, because no doubt i'll buy the book and it will already think i'm an expert in the subject.

Have you tried going down to your local Waterstones / Borders / Books etc / Other bookshop, or library, and reading through the book? I always do this before buying any book.
