Hi Folks

Does anyone have any javascript that I can use in my ASP page?

Basically if I enter a value "1000000" or "-1000000", I have a Javascript update function which determines if the number is positive or negative and returns either 1000000 or [red](1000000)[/red]

Now what I want to do is insert the commas so I either get 1,000,000 or [red](1,000,000)[/red]

Any takers?

Thanks

Tudor

I have a really cool digital clock that doesn't rely on graphi cs... :)

You may want to hit the search or FAQs in the javascript forum, I could swear I saw several answers to this some time ago over there. In fact if mwolf is around I think I reember him answering this question at some point with a rather nice answer.

then again, i forgot today was wednesday and the termite inspector was coming, so you may not want to rely to heavily on that last one (but definately check out the javascript forum).
