java2sdk1.4.1_01 Reboots my PC

Hello, I'm a newbie to JAVA. I downloaded the Java SDK and loaded it with out any problem. I ran the "Java Web Start" program to see what it looks like. The program loads, and about 3 seconds after the program's window opens my PC reboots! I was hoping I just didn't have something setup right for it to work so I went ahead and loaded the NetBeans IDE. It too loaded fine, but when I ran it for the first time it started a Q&A process to setup some options. About 3 or 4 steps into the setup my PC rebooted again! The reboots do appear to be related to the SDK because it runs fine as long as I don't launch any of the JAVA progams. My PC is running Windows XP with IE 6. Any ideas?
