I'm trying to install LimeWire on my linux machine and it says I need "Java Virtual Machine" installed. I've searched for JVM packages to install but can't find one. Please help me locate one. Thanks
Randy

there should be an rpm for it on the java.sun.com website

If you used Redhat/FC.
You can download JRE and mozilla-jre from dag.wieers.com/packages/

I have installed J2RE from java.com but when going to a site that requires java it still tells me I need it. Here is a screenshot. Is there anything else I need to do besides just installing the J2RE?

I have also tried downloading and installing the plugin like it is asking and nothing that requires java works.

You just installed j2re from java.com. That will not work.
I have tried it few times.
Get rpm packages from dag.wieers.com.
Sure, jvm plugin will work fine.

I went to dag.wieers.com and installed the the rpm packages for mozilla. Now if I start mozilla it the java works fine. I prefer to use Firefox 0.91 browser. It does not work under firefox. How do I get it to work with this browser?

Randy

I used firefox 0.83 and jvm worked fine.
Downloaded firefox 0.83 rpm package for daq.wieers.com
