java plug in

hello

i had inisight manager working fine until i found the PC had a virus, (isass) since then i have removed the virus and run windows updates. now i know cannot log into insight manager, it stays at the "looking for java plugins" page. java has been removed and reistalled. i am running windows 2000 advanced server

does the PC need to be rebuilt?

I have not had a virus, but my machine is having same problem. I have uninstalled all previous versions of JRE and installed the newest. It still does not get past the "checking java" message. I know it works on my JRE version because a coworker has it working with it. Any help???

i had to eventually remove IM and install IM7
its working fine now
