Java application help please

I have a java application which uses patran software (analysis software of mechanical components), hen i run this application it says access_violation ..
When patran application is accessed, patran window pops up but goes to not responding state.
please if any one is doing similar application, plese help me...

"Access violations" usually occurs when:
1. the file u're trying to access is in use.
2. u do not have permissions to the file (i.e. NTSF restrictions).

Ur explaination was shallow.. try to include more details.
