Java API's to access BO universe and reports?

Hi all,
I am new to BO environment.I have a startup question with respect to the java/jsp's compatiblility with BO.Is there any Java API available to access BO Universe/Reports through our application?If yes,then please give some guidelines to start with.

Yes there is (for WebIntelligence), you HAVE TO BUY the SDK from BO to get all the docs.
I think that with BO V6 the SDK is built in and so you just need a valid support contract to download everything.
