Java and Oracle

iam new with Java where do i start or how i can connect to oracle DB using Java.

any input will gladly appreciate thanks in advance

BTW, your driver URL will be something like jdbcracle:thinhostname:1521:SID and your driver class will be oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver which is found in the classes12.jar, which comes with the standard Oracle client installation.
