japanese text

some website is in japanese. and i get japanese text display problem . i get to see many "?" chars.

how to resolve this problem ? what software do i need to download? i am on IE6

I found this kb issue but it doesnt relate to IE6:

The method which may work looks like:

Right-click a blank area on the Web page, point to Encoding, and then click More, then select Japanese (Auto Select)
