J179 - SIP re-registers via Avaya SBCE approx. every 2 minutes.

Hey guys - Just got our Avaya SBCE installed, and was successfully able to get our J179 SIP phones to connect, and register to our IP Office systems R11.0.4. While everything seems to be working properly - approx every 2 mins. (+ or - 20 secs) the J179 will act like it re-registers and comes up with the "Logging In Downloading Configuration" message. It takes approx 2 seconds, and then its back up again. Any idea's on what could be causing it to keep re-logging in every 2 minutes?

What do you have set in your no user source numbers?

Thanks for the info... In our no user source numbers we already have:
RW_SBC_REG= X.X.X.X (ASBCE B1 public IP)
RW_SBC_PROV= 192.168.103.242 (ASBCE A1 port private IP)
RW_SBC_TCP=5060
RW_SBC_UDP=5060
RW_SBC_TLS=5061

I do NOT have the SET WAIT_FOR_REGISTRATION_TIMER 40 set in our 46xxsettings.txt file. I have been told that on R11.0 you should no longer modify the 46xxsettings.txt file and do everything via the 46xxspecials.txt file instead. Should i add the SET WAIT_FOR_REGISTRATION_TIMER 40 to the 46xxspecials.txt ?

 
Do you use UDP, TCP and TLS for the remote phones? Otherwise, just skip the unused ones. And indeed, do not modify the autogenereated 46xxsettings.txt. Add the 46xxspecials.txt and put it there.
