J179 Background Logo / Side-Car

Hello all,

I just want to confirm when loading a custom background to a J179, the side-car is stuck on the default image 1 (“Red”) as per the documentation? No way around this? A solid black would be ideal at the least.

Unfortunately not, "Red" is all you get.

Yes you can (as in I just did it to be sure).

When first attached and started, the phone and JEM24 button module backgrounds differed. I had to go through the process of changing the background, at which point they came into synch. Also if going through the image choices to preview them there was a lag in the button module display updating

That was with J100 4.0.2.1.3 - as with eveything J100 it all changes every few months with another firmware release.

There are six different built-in backgrounds on the JEM24. You cannot load a custom background.
