Hi,
As it stated in : On J129 local contacts should be supported with IP Office. J129 will use the IP Office hosted Personal Directory as local contacts.
I have IPO with latest R10 SP3 and J129 on SIP 1.1 SW but still this feature does not work for me. On J129 there is "Contact" soft button but when it is pressed there is empty list (despite the fact that for this user there is list defined in Personal Directory tab) and adding of new entry is not possible.
Does somebody try manage it or have some information how /does it is working?

Maybe you should read all the text =9

Local contacts supported with IP Office. J129 will use the IP Office™ hosted
Personal Directory as local contacts. J129 will backup/restore contacts with IP
Office whenever contact is modified (on IP Office™ or J129 locally). Requires
minimum IP Office™ Release R10.1

@janni78, thank you for your replay, but what are you pointing on? R10.1? Latest is R10 SP3, is it considered as R10.1. Or R10.1 just to be released? Could you be more precise what you have on mind?

R10 SP3 is R10.0 SP3.

R10.1 is supposed to be released this or next week.

@janni78, thank you.
I did not expect that feature is announced but it is not maintainable as it requires IPO version that is not jet released. :-/

Usually you're not supposed to download phone firmware for IPO from the site (although I've done it myself from time to time), this is used for Aura.
On IPO you're supposed to use the firmware version supplied with the release and in R10.0 SP3 it's 1.0.0.0.43 for J129.

Beta testing for R10.1 started about the same time as J129 1.1 was released and that's why that is in there.
When R10.1 is released it will probably be included as a new feature in the R10.1 release notes.
