Hi,

Guys, I installed an IVM card today. The HIPATH MANAGER E doesn´t show me the IVM card in system-wide.

The card has two leds (green and yellow). The green led is statically on, while the yellow led is blinking. This behavior has more than 2 hours, I mentioned it because our technical support said the card is booting, but I think they are don´t know what´s going on.

Could you explain the meaning of those leds ?

Thanks for your help....

Does the IVM card have to go in a specific slot? I have the Hicom 150 which is a precursor to some of that stuff, and in the configuration manual there are notes about not putting certain cards in certain slots or certain cabinets because of the way the resources are configured.

Something to look into and see if it holds water....

I also seem to remember another thread on here about someone not being able to see the 3800 IVM in Assistant E - it's fairly recent - most likely this year, so you might be able to find that one and see if there are any answers in there.

Hi donb01,

Yes, according to our technical support, this card must be installed in slot 10.

Ok I will look for this thread....

The card has to be installed in the last slot of the system cabinet.

Meaning of the led's:

Yellow LED - Green LED - Meaning

Durring the boot secuence:

1. off - off - boot procces
2. on - on - LED-test
3a. on - off - Blocking switch is pressed

4. blinking 500/500ms - off - Harddisk test
5a. off - on - standby after succesfull boot proccess
5b. on - off - The module is blocked or broken

When the module is running:

Thanks,

Ok, IVM is working fine, it is up since last Saturday.

Now, I have a question, is it possible to access each mailbox through ODBC (Open Database Connectivity ) or something like that ?

We would like to notify to each user when they have voicemails pending but just in 1 email instead notifying every incoming voicemail. We are thinking to do it like a recursive task, let´s say for example every day at 8 am.

Does anyone know why IVM Web page sometimes doesn´t response ?

And when this happens, I can´t ping the IVM´s ip address from the PC where the web page froze.
