Alright, the problem I'm having is "Should I use Access for this problem?"
I'm trying to come up with a new way to build training packages. What goes into the package depends on what state the package is ordered from. Right now they have an excel sheet, they look up the company on the chart, then scan down for the state, and everything on that line gets added to the package.
It's pretty simple to implement something like this in Access, but the question is: Should I? I'm just an intern and when I leave they have no one who can modify the database. My boss would like some like this implemented, where the machine just tells the worker what to add to the package. Hmmm.
Now that I've thought it out loud, I probably won't create the database. But I'm still curious as to what you people think.
Later,
ErikZ
