Hi
We've just had a weird problem with our ITG trunks on one site.
All calls out over the ITG trunks were giving busy, a STAT on the ITG card in LD32 showed D-CH RLS AEST.
A STAT on DCH in LD96 showed RLS.
I tried disabling + re-enabling both the ITG card + the D-Channel.
It appeared that the D-channel was trying to establish, then releasing.
No error messages before or at time of failure, but during my trying to correct the problem, XMI001/002 + DCH1014/1019 were generated.
I ended up telnetting into the ITG card, where the card showed Card State + DCH Status as both DSBL.
A CardReset cured the problem + brought everything back on line OK.
My question is, is it likely to be a one-off or should I be concerned that it is an indication of more serious problems?
Obviously the ITG card had developed some sort of problem that only a reset would cure.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave.
