ItemTax Class Vs Vendor Tax Class

How can I set up item tax classes so that when creating a purchase order the item tax class overides the vendor tax class, so that if i have an item which attracts tax and its being purchased from avendor who has been set up as not attracting tax then the purchase order will automaticaly attract tax?

You cannot, vendor tax classes override item tax classes.
