Items not showing in sent items

Guys:

Have a situation regarding outlook xp on my work LAN - some users are getting a situation whereby they are sending an email the recipient is receiving BUT copy of the email not going into sent items...anyone else come across this?

In OL2K there's an option to save sent messages in the Sent Items folder - maybe there's one of those in OL XP as well that might have been turned off?

Well, here's what happened: The owner didn't tell me until today that this problem started after he had his mother board changed. Turned out that whoever put the computer back together again didn't update the system date, which was set to May 2003. So all the messages that went out in this last week have vanished, but were delivered OK.

By setting up the correct system date, all is now well, but the mystery remains - what happened to those sent messages?

Hi folks:

Same problem here, with Netscape 7.1 mail. My sent msgs have not been showing up since 6/18 and I have dispatched dozens since. Tried sending a BCC to another acct but this doesn't seem to work either. Tried changing where a copy would be retained, also no luck. |`-( Any input or suggestions will be gratefully rec'd. Thanks!
