Where is the item price comes from in Aloha? I looked in the DBF files and found out there are a lot of price fields.
I need to be able to get the item's price by providing the item sku.
any idea ideas or hints will be much appreciated.

Thank you,

There are 9 ways to price an item in Aloha. Item, weight, menu, sub menu, ways in event, price change, promo and discount an i think i'm forgetting one.

Sorry not an easy task in aloha.

Cheers,
Coorsman

Good luck,

They only way to get this is by reading all the related tables and events and building your logic exactly the way Aloha does it. There is simply no other way. Believe me, we tried. Not even a connect interface can get the correct prices.

Ya, sometimes Aloha doesn't even get it right. I've seen several occasions where 4 reports have 4 different sets of totals and nothing calculates correctly.

Cheers,

If you are using bar code or sku to ring in an item the price comes from the price assigned at the item level. Unless there are promos or comps related to the item that is the price it will ring in at.
