Hi all,

I have the following expression in a report and wish to get the [ASSOC_SP] field to appear as italicized (but not anything else). I am sure that there is an elegantly SIMPLE way of doing this that I am not seeing, but if any of you have words of wisdom to pass on this matter, I would certainly be eternally grateful.

=[SITE_DESC] & "; " & [COMMUNITY] & " plant community; associated with " & [ASSOC_SP] & "."

Thanks very much!

There is no way in the native controls to apply attributes to a part of an expression (control text). You can either place the specific part in a seperate control and "overlay" the controls to provide the effect of refer to non-native controls, such as the RTF text box.
