For Avaya i hope they will do better next year, they ended this year with another poor release of software : 10.1 SP1

VM Pro is screwed up, spend four hours on a half an hour job, thank you.
SoftConsole, it just doesn't connect to IP Office. I had to go back to SC 10.0.0.4 to get a working version.
At least the upgrade from 8.0 went smoothly, that was a relief for once.

It is time for Avaya to go back in time and release field trial versions for partners and get the crap tested, Avaya clearly does not test properly or at all.

Lost half a day and got really frustrated, not a good start for Christmas.

I was testing a callflow with menus using a internal digital Phone 1408 using a shortcode, as usual.
It has chained menus and after dilling a option in the first menu like a 2 will send the same 2 to the next menu option.
Initially i thought there was a problem with the recording of the second menu but after a number of tests i found the problem with the replicating digit.
When accessing the menu from a external line it works fine.
unfortunally I had no external lines at that moment, they arrived later that day and then I found it is working with external lines.
 
I Am glad that is i working correctly for External lines, that makes it a relatively minor issue.
would have been much worse if it also affected external
still a great shame considering how little trouble there was with the GA (We experienced none)
