Hi all,

I am looking at an issue whereby users are exceeding the threshold set on their storage limits without ever receiving warnings. Warnings are set at 256MB by exchange policy and applied to all storage groups. Prohibit send it at about 300MB. Users reach the 300MB limit without ever receiving warnings. The schedule to send warnings is set at midnight every night.

Apparently this used to work and then stopped at some point.

No errors in the event logs that I can find, and no other problems that I know of. Servers are built indentically on several clusters.

Select a couple of user accounts and look at the Exchange general tab. Under storage limits, there is a check box (something like "use store default limits"). If that box is unchecked, then the user is not subject to your store limits.

I have solved it. I reapplied the policy to the exchange boxes and suddenly today this feature has started working again. I guess there is a bug in there somewhere.
