Ok I have 2 DCs and 1 Exchange all running W2k3 and Exch 2k3. I have noticed that over the past few days that some local clients are connecting to the remote DC first. If i go into AD Users and look at which DC it connects to its the remote DC. I dont have them seperated by sites because i tried this already and they wouldnt replicate.

The local DC where i am is the Primary DC as it holds all the FSMO roles. Both DCs are GCs and the local DC here is also the only WINS for the enterprise.

What is causing this?

Network Error:
Hit any user to continue

There are 3 reasons this would happen:

1) Sites/Services incorrect

2) DNS Issue

3) Local DC is unreachable

It sounds like your sites/services is the major issue. If you could not get replication working then something must have been done wrong. with 2 sites and only 2 DC's replication should be s snap.

For just some basic troubleshooting, try running dcdiag and netdiag from each DC.
