Here is my situation. I have had this setup for years and now that we have added two more locations I can not get it to work at these new locations.

I use vectoring for my auto attendant. I have a prompt to offer callers the company directory of the Modular Messaging. The prompt states to press 8 which is a route-to number 7000* which is the pilot number of the M.M. plus * to select the option for the company directory.

When I trace a call for the vectors on these two sites, it skips the step.

If I change the step to only route to the pilot number, removing the star, that works. Of course it doesn't get the caller to the company directory.

I narrowed it down to this:

Site A - Main Site: S8720s, MM, PRIs are NI or protocol a.
Site B - Remote: G700, PRI is NI or protocol a.
Site C - Remote: G700, PRI is NI2 or protocol b.
Site D - Remote: G350, PRI is NI2 or protocol b.

Sites A & B work correctly when calls land on the PRIs at these sites.
Sites C & D do not work when calls land on the PRIs at these sites. In fact at Site C I have 4 POTS lines which when pointed to the same VDN/Vector works correctly.

Why would it work as designed on a PRI as NI, protocol a but on an NI2, protocol b PRI it won't work.

Any help would be appreciated.
