ISS and server extensions errors

I have installed IIS 5.0 and I am running Win2k Pro. I want to host my site, and I have succeeded. However, I went to load the server extentions and I get the error that:---
"unabble to create web for URL "/" because it's root directory, C:\inetpub\

http://wwwroot\sitedir_name\"'

falls below the root of another web in the directory c:\inetpub\

http://wwwroot.

I dont remember creating one there, but may have by mistake. All that I see in the Int. Ser. Manager is the tree that start with ISM -> comp_name -> and the the three others, FTP-default web-SMTP. I have configured my default to respong to the directory inetpub\

http://wwwroot\site_folder.

And it works. But install extensions without that error? Please help, I have almost had it, I am waiting with a fresh install of IIS!
