Hello,

I have a problem on my Windows 2003 STD server with MS SQL 2000 SP3 called "servicedesk".

I could not connect to any database by using isql.exe.
When I run isql, the dox box don't give me any error messages.

But if use isql from another server to connect to this server, it works fine. And I can connect from my production server to the test using isql, it works fine.

So it's not realy a isql problem but...argggg

If I use osql, it works fine..

Please help me !!!!

Mabey your isql.exe got corrupt? Try copying it from another server.

If osql works, then isql should work with out a problem.

I bet as tightly as the security is locked down by default in Windows 2003, you probably have a permissions issue w/ isql.

Thanks
