Hi all,

This is what I want to accomplish using ISA server

My local server has a direct connection to the internet. My primary route to fetch webpages is
'direct from the internet'
My backup route shoud be 'use a upstream server', however I can't seem to find where I can configure this...

When I want to configure ISA server routing, then I only have to option to
1. use direct connection; no backup is available in terms of using an upstream server as backup.
2. use upstream server as primary,
and use direct or upstream as backup

This doesn't make any sense... why would I loose the opportunity to use a backup proxy server when I direct connection goes down?
Or am I missing the point here ?

Any help or feedback is greatly appreciated --------------------------------------------------------------------

How can I believe in God when just last week I got my tongue caught in the roller of an electric typewriter?

What about this scenario:

I'll set up a Automatic configuration server on my LAN,
use the 'automatic configuration' as primary route
and the upstream server as secundary route

The autoconfig script will tell my ISA server to fetch the pages directly...
I guess that would do the trick... wouldn't it ?
