Hi, I want to upgrade my PC from Windows 98 to Windows XP but I can't find the drivers for my network card (D-Link DE220 ISA PnP). I could not find them on D-Link.com. Is it possible that some old network card don't have Windows XP drivers? Does Windows XP support ISA cards at all? Thank you.

You may find that WinXP doesn't work well, if at all, with ISA cards. Had to replace my excellent ISA 56K modem. As cheap as the PCI cards are, I'd just replace it, not over $20 in WalMart for a LinkSys, as low as $10 on the 'Net that I've seen.

Before you go out and replace it, load XP, you maybe very surprised at the results.
XP has a massive driver database and impresses me when it loads generic drivers for the most obscure and out of date hardware.
Give it a go before you write it off. Martin Please let members know if there advice has helped any.

And it does support ISA devices.

Its not a matter of drivers - XP doesn't always work properly with ISA network cards at all - card appears in device manager with drivers loaded but network is always disconnected. I had this problem - and though I received a possible solution from the guy who runs by then I'd bought a new PCI card as they're not expensive (so never tried out the possible solution).
